after years of watching the structure of money and power in the local NY music scene / industry, we feel that there needs to be a public resource for musicians, bookers, and concert goers, to parse the logistics of these spaces in nyc. we want venues to be more transparent and hope that this website pushes venues to both be more competitive + fair in their pricing, more transparent about what they provide and how they care about the musicians responsible for their income.
